BOI Rules Change Again
If you feel like you are getting whiplash from the back-and-forth decisions on the BOI reporting updates, you aren’t alone. The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals late Thursday reinstated a nationwide injunction halting enforcement of BOI reporting requirements, reversing an order the same court issued earlier this week. Everything is again on pause.
What to do now? – It is recommended that you remain ready to file at a moment’s notice, but can delay filing for now.
The Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has indicated that it could take this up again during the week of January 6th, based upon the courts published schedule. We will continue to update you as information becomes available.
